Since the ukulele is big again, let's return to the time when the Ukulele was first introduced into popular culture as we present this compilation of ukulele songs from public-domain recorded collections.
These represent some of the best available tracks, lovingly curated by generous souls and we thank them for the time they've put into keeping these performances alive.
This compilation would not be possible without Michael Cumella (Mac) @ Antique Phonograph show on WFMU, archive.org, vitaphone blog, and The Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara Library.

Terrific collection, and thanks, Happy Puppy Records.
A correction: Number 8 is not "Ukulele BABY," but rather, another version of "Ukulele Lady."
And Number 11, "Ukulele LADY" by the Trix Sisters, is, in fact, "Ukulele Lullaby (Since Ukulele Lady Had a Ukulele Baby)" by Ray Morelle and Gene Williams. This was apparently a sendup of the earlier "Ukulele Lady."
